Just like men’s thongs, the g-string is one of the most popular styles of men’s underwear online and favoured by some because of there more minimalist look.

They are distinguished by a much narrow string, usually only about a ¼ of an inch wide and sometimes even as thin as a broad piece of string.

Like the thong, they consist of an elasticated waistband with a fabric pouch at the front to cover and support the genitals, which then has a narrow string that passes between the legs and buttocks to connect to the waistband at the rear.

Often the waistband is much narrower, although this is not always the case, but can sometimes be of a string nature to provide an even skimpier look.

Mens thongs are the most popular choice of strings and are distinguished from g-strings by having a much broader string or thong that is about ¾ to an inch wide and become broader toward the waist band at the rear.
